About us
At its core, Project Ropa is a mobile service that delivers premium, hand-selected apparel and shoes to those in need. We work with various partners, including clothing manufacturers, retailers, and other non-profits, to give a second life to items originally destined for landfills.
In doing so, Project Ropa is paving the way towards a more compassionate and sustainable world by providing those in need with hygiene essentials and high-quality clothing and shoes that can help open doors to future opportunities. With our unique approach to helping people from marginalized communities, our organization is transforming lives, one garment at a time.
Our Services
Mobile Clothing Closet
Our street side resiliency care services provide clothing and hygiene essentials to those in need on a weekly basis at locations in the Los Angeles area.
Reducing Waste
Project Ropa collaborates with companies to rescue surplus, imperfect, and sample items, diverting them from landfills and giving them a renewed purpose.
Community Clothing and Hygiene Bank
Project Ropa provides mutual aid groups and small non-profit organizations in the Los Angeles area who serve marginalized communities with bulk supplies of clothing, shoes, and hygiene products on a monthly basis.

It is our privilege to help transform the way people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles look and feel, and to be able to share their stories about how getting clean clothes from Project Ropa has made an impact on their lives.
When I see Project Ropa's van pulling in, I always know they are going to provide me with stylish clean clothing. They even got me a sleeping bag. Thanks for keeping me warm!
